Systemic Lupus Erythematous or a Mimic

Infections such as syphilis can mimic rheumatologic diseases at presentation. Here, we report a case of syphilis presenting with symptoms seen in systemic lupus erythematous
(SLE)/antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).
