The Michigan Rheumatism Society is a professional association whose principal purpose is improving the health of all patients in the state of Michigan suffering from rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases and to work with all rheumatologists in Michigan to ensure that all patients in Michigan suffering from rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases have access to the highest quality of medical care possible.
Our mission extends to assisting members in providing leadership on rheumatologic and musculoskeletal health issues through advocacy and awareness, communications, education, and sharing of research with respect to rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases with the Michigan medical and health care community and to providing a forum for members to create and advance a rheumatologic and musculoskeletal health agenda in private, public, and political forums.
