Allan H. Morton, D. O., FACR, FACOI, certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, maintains a busy solo private practice in Warren, Michigan. He is the director of the Michigan Osteoporosis Testing Center as well as a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His major interest is in the medical management of people with Rheumatoid Arthritis, other inflammatory arthritic conditions, Osteoarthritis, Gout, and Osteoporosis. Having been in practice in for 38 years he has cared for in excess of 23,000 patients. He is involved in the education of medical students and residents in his office. In addition he is involved in advocacy for people with arthritis and the Rheumatology profession.
Dr. Morton is a Founding Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, past president of the Michigan Rheumatism Society, member of the American Society of Clinical Rheumatologists, past chairman of the board of the Michigan Chapter of the National Arthritis Foundation, and served on the Professional Education Committee of the National Arthritis Foundation.
